Dr. Jaesun Lee grew up in Northern Virginia and her passion for veterinary medicine started when she welcomed her first family dog, Sophie. She found great passion in caring for her since the age of eleven. While completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Virginia, she worked as a veterinary assistant at Monticello Animal Hospital and volunteered at the local animal shelter. In addition, she worked as a technician at Family Veterinary Hospital prior to starting veterinary school. She attained her doctorate’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Soon after graduation, Dr. Lee joined the Suburban Animal Hospital team.

Dr. Lee’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. She currently resides in Alexandria with her chihuahua pitbull mix, Peaches. When she’s not working, she enjoys discovering new trails with her dog, running, and trying out new Trader Joe’s items.
